Umrah & Hajj: a simple emergency card for every pilgrim
October 5, 2026
Millions of pilgrims share the same holy sites, and it's easy to lose sight of your group — especially for elderly pilgrims or first-time travellers. A clear emergency card can make the difference between an anxious hour and a quick reunion.
What the card shows
- The pilgrim's name and photo
- The group or agency name and the group leader's phone
- Hotel names in Makkah and Madinah
- A home emergency contact, blood group and any medical notes
- A help message in English, Arabic and Urdu: "Please help me return to my group"
Why a QR code helps
The QR code saves the leader's number, the hotels and the emergency details to the helper's phone — no internet needed. A helper can tap to call the group leader straight away.
Privacy and safety tips
- Never include passport or visa numbers.
- Don't add your home address.
- This is a personal emergency card, not an official Nusuk ID — always carry the official documents your agency gives you.
Agencies can create cards for the whole group at once with bulk mode, and print them as wallet cards, lanyards or luggage tags.
