Privacy

Your designs stay on your device

Card text, photos, logos and WiFi passwords are kept in your browser and are not uploaded to Kardit. Clearing browser storage removes local artwork. Signing in on another device restores credits, not designs.

Purchases and sign-in

We retain purchase email, payment and order references, amounts, dates, credit balances and opaque design fingerprints for accounting and access recovery. Stripe processes payments; card numbers do not reach Kardit.

AI requests

The optional AI designer processes only your typed request and published template identifiers. Your local card details and photos are not sent. Do not type private information into an AI request unless you intend it to be processed. Hashed device, network and customer identifiers support usage limits.

Children and pilgrims

Use first names only on child safety cards and never include a home address or school. Do not put passport or visa numbers on pilgrim cards. Printed QR codes are readable by anyone who can scan them, so include only what a helper needs.

Retention and deletion

Request account deletion from your account page. Purchase records may be retained where required for accounting or law. Contact us with privacy questions.

Cookies and local storage

Kardit uses your browser’s local storage to keep your designs, brand kit and purchase receipts on your device, and a sign-in cookie if you sign in. These are needed for the site to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies while ads are switched off.

Advertising cookies (only if ads are enabled)

If we turn on advertising in the future, ads appear only on blog and guide pages, never in the editor, checkout, account or admin. Google and its partners may then use cookies to show and measure ads, including personalised ads where you allow it. Where the law requires consent, we will ask before any advertising cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time. You can learn more and opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
